The Wedding of Harriet and Sean, The Ham Polo Club, London

“Hi Helen & Sam,

We had our first look over the photos and we were absolutely blown away by them! You have done such a great job and they really took us through all the emotions of the day again which was brilliant...they also helped to fill in a lot of the missing memories which we had from what seemed like a whirlwind of the day”.

-Sean

We first met Harriet and Sean in North London not long after we relocated to Spain. It was a cold evening and we found a warm fire lit corner of a beautiful pub to discuss their wedding plans.

We clicked with them straight away; they are warm, kind people who were easy to get to know and talk with.

Even throughout their wedding day they both checked in with us and the videographer to ensure that we had been well looked after by the venue (we had) which is always an appreciated gesture. Even the bride’s father made sure that we were enjoying ourselves!

Harriet and Sean had a beautiful day at Ham Polo Club along with their kind-hearted friends and family. They were genuinely a joy to work with and wish them every happiness in the future.

The Wedding of Alexandra and Jan, The Salutation

Alexandra was a good friend from my art college days in London, over the years we lost contact as often is the way with ‘growing up’.

I received a very friendly email from Alex explaining that she had become engaged to a wonderful man by the name of Jan. Alex asked if I would mind travelling to London to photograph their wedding. We met at St James’s Park to discuss their day and to photograph their engagement shoot. Much like their future wedding day, the weather was spectacular and it was great to catch up with an old friend and make a new one in Jan.

We chatted, snapped, walked and eventually rested on some deck chairs to watch the last of the sun set over Buckingham Palace.

Theirs was an intimate wedding full of warm and kind people spanning four generations. It was a beautiful day and one that I was very much honoured to be a part of.

The Wedding of Rachel and Luke at The Four Seasons, George V, Paris & The American Cathedral, Paris

Rachel and Luke have a love affair with Paris, not that I blame them for loving one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Rachel like many Americans has loved the city from a young age; it’s a passion that her and Luke have long shared, it is an enchanting city. Having personally spent months of my life there, I cannot say enough about the city, every trip (and every wedding) reminds me why I love it.

We met in London to discuss their wedding day, I knew that they were planning to marry in Paris, but knew little else at that point; it was probably very useful that I had visited the beautiful American Cathedral before and knew Ave. George V just off the Champs Elysees well, I will however acknowledge that I didn’t realise just how beautiful the Four Seasons in Paris, the penthouse suite was otherworldly and as you can see, it had the most incredible view of the city.

The service, the reception and the entire day was magical; just as any wedding in Paris should be.

The Wedding of Charlotte and Alex at Marleybrook House, Canterbury

We met Charlotte and Alex over a coffee, just before their engagement photo shoot. We discussed their wedding day, how to act in front of the camera, how to best relax and get the most from their shoot and many other aspects of their planning... but mostly, we discussed the vintage fairground that was at their wedding venue.

The fairground made such a great focal point of the entertainment aspect of their day; the venue is unusual yet elegant, there were quiet walkways, hidden gardens, a lake, a beautiful bridal suite along with endless items of decorations to look at that the venue had at their disposal, but the couple got it just right in bringing in so many of their own things including around 100 empty gin bottles.

If you are looking for an unusual venue with picturesque settings and great entertainment for your guests in South East of England then this would be an ideal setting.

It was a fun, quirky, gin soaked day with plenty of laughs, unusual decorations and smiles all around. We were honoured to be a part of it.

The Wedding of Andrea and Barry, Marbella, June 2018

We met Andrea and Barry in Nueva Andalusia last year and immediately felt at ease with them. They are kind hearted, relaxed people and we knew that we would get along with them fantastically on their big day.

People often underestimate how important a bond is between themselves and their photographer can be; when you click with someone you feel that you can trust them and the couple felt happy to entrust their wedding day to us.

June is a fantastic month to get married in Spain, it is very hot but not as stifling as July and August can be, and you get the longest days of the year and therefore some of the latest and longest sunsets. You’ll never hear of a photographer complaining about a beach visit for sunset and this wedding was no exception

These are a few of our favourite images from their day. You can find a few others on our galleries.

The Wedding of Christina & Manjinder, Cobham, March 2018

It was great to fly out to our first British Spring wedding in March for the Wedding of Christina and Manjinder at Great Fosters in Surrey.

Through the moments of the couple getting ready, to the best man Kip practicing his speech to friends and the fantastic drummers in the evening it was a beautiful, heartfelt and memorable day.

Much like the couple themselves, their day exudes memories of warmth, a close-knit family and understated elegance. It was truly a pleasure to be a part of your day and we wish you every happiness in the future.

Venue: Great Fosters, Cobham, Surrey.

The Wedding of Robin & Alec, London, July 2017

Robin and Alec’s wedding day started and ended with beautiful sunshine, set at the Horniman Museum with views overlooking London yet with a tranquil setting that could equally be in any rural setting across the country yet is nestled in Forest hill in the heart of South London.
