“Sam & Helen, they are beautiful- thank you so much for capturing every moment so wonderfully. I wish we could go back and do it again!”
A colourful and elegant multiday wedding in Seville.
We planned time for portraits before their sangeet, ceremony, and reception allowing the couple to maximise the time available for their days whilst getting the images they wanted.
Villa Luisa in Seville is one of Spain’s most sought after wedding venues and was their choice for the Sangeet. The different areas allow lots of different approaches to how a couple can make their wedding look unique to their wants. I love Hacienda los Molinillos in Seville particularly for Asian weddings. It’s architecture along with the unique Sevillan light makes for incredible photos and of course a beautiful setting for a ceremony. Hotel Alfonso XIII was their choice for the evening reception. It’s elegant, historic and generally a wonderful place for a celebration.
As a wedding photographer in Seville, I have the opportunity to work with couples who want their Spanish wedding to be representative of them as a couple. It takes time and discussion to understand the exact wants of a couple but this hands on approach is important to how I capture a day
I met with S&N multiple times to put together ideas of exactly how they wanted their day to be photographed.
As a wedding photographer in Spain, my style has three main elements, the first of which is in every wedding; the documentary, journalistic style—capturing the story, joy and action of the day. Storytelling is an intrinsic part of every wedding.
The second element is the editorial portraiture. Architecture, light, drama and fun create contemporary imagery that has a magazine-like appearance.
The third is a blend of elements one and two but it stands apart; Artistic imagery. We forever search for something new and different. It’s these observations that separate this from journalistic wedding photography.
By taking on fewer weddings per year we are hands-on in our approach to a couples day from the meetings, to intricate planning and our aftercare.
