We are Sam & Helen of Bloomfield Photo
Influenced by fashion and architecture, a vision grounded in space and thoughtful direction, knowing exactly when stepping back matters.
Our backgrounds in London’s fashion, styling, and photographic studios shaped a disciplined, editorial eye which is applied to our wedding photos across Europe.
We meet our couples, building a connection to ensure our visions align.
The result is composed, never overdirected.
We see our work not only as contemporary photography, but as something that will become part of a couple’s legacy.
Each image is given the time and attention it deserves, carefully refined by hand. We work from our purpose-built photographic studio where we edit, develop ideas, and coordinate our work. This dedicated space allows us to approach every gallery with focus and consistency.
Discernment and simplicity define Sam’s style and direction. A warm and calm presence he assesses every space he enters, finding the energy and raising it when necessary.
Always looking for light, architecture and the moments that are hard to explain. Waiting for the opportune moment to elevate the frame whilst being sensitive to the needs of the day.
Helen is an artist with an unshakably creative approach. Her refinements are subtle and precise, too often unnoticed in the moment, yet unmistakable in our final work.
Sam and Helen balance each other with a shared vision and love of aesthetics seen from different perspectives. This friction sparks creativity balanced with two calm yet confident personalities.

Our Process
The Connection
We want you to create a connection to our images and how we work.
Our approach is not neutral. It is thoughtfully approached and directed when needed.
The Conversation
After we connect, we start with a conversation, sharing intentions, reviewing our previous work, our personal approach and exploring your vision.
Together, we discuss your celebration’s flow, the spaces involved, and how much direction feels right for you. Our focus is on understanding your day’s rhythm before diving into details.
The Wedding
Our presence is calm, considered and deliberate. Our pre-planning gives space to be responsive; to light, atmosphere, and pace rather than rigid expectation or checklists.
The Delivery
Every image is hand-edited in our studio, resulting in a curated gallery.
A sneak peek is shared shortly after the celebration.
The full curated online gallery will follow in approximately six to ten weeks. It is downloadable and shareable. Editorial Magazines and contact prints as add-ons once the gallery is delivered.
The Booking
Your date is secured with a contract and retainer. We accept a limited number of commissions each year to give the time and dedication required to create thoughtfully and intentionally.
The Direction
We discuss planned photographic sessions in keeping with the vision of the day.
This stage is collaborative and creative yet precise.
Nothing is over-constructed with space ensured to allow natural flow.
