We are Sam and Helen, of Bloomfield Photo. We photograph destination elopements across Spain and Europe for couples who value thoughtful, editorial photography. Creating fashion-inspired art over catalogues.
Our approach combines documentary awareness with editorial composition. We observe when moments unfold naturally and guide when structure improves the composition, creating photographs that feel calm, considered and authentic.
While Bloomfield Photo is known primarily as a destination wedding photographer in Spain, we also photograph intimate elopements for couples who prefer a smaller and more personal celebration.

We regularly photograph elopements across Spain, particularly in locations such as Marbella and the Costa del Sol, Barcelona, Seville, Mallorca and the Andalusian countryside.
Each location offers a different character. Coastal settings provide expansive views and evening light over the Mediterranean, while historic cities bring architecture and atmosphere that feel timeless.

A Personal Approach
Bloomfield Photo was founded as a partnership between Sam and Helen, combining documentary storytelling with a refined editorial eye.
Sam’s early connection to India through a family business operating between London and Mumbai created a lasting familiarity with multicultural celebrations and international travel. Today we photograph weddings and elopements for couples from across Europe, the United States, the Middle East and Asia.
Working from our studio in Marbella, we approach every project carefully, editing and refining our work by hand to maintain consistency and attention to detail.

Every elopement is slightly different. Some couples choose a simple ceremony followed by a portrait session exploring the surrounding landscape, while others plan a small gathering with close family or friends.
